1) Getting Started

Rinbang is a platform for transparent, respectful dialogue between people and influential figures. Share your opinions and demands, reach public figures and help drive meaningful change.

Sign Up

  1. Open the Sign Up page.
  2. Fill email and/or mobile, date of birth, gender.
  3. Enter one-time codes, then click Sign Up.

Login

  1. Open the Login page.
  2. Enter your registered email.
  3. Use the one-time code to sign in.

2) Add Public Figures

Any user can submit a public figure for community review and rating. Paste the person’s English Wikipedia URL, click Extract Info, and the system fills key fields (name, birth date, gender, photo). Complete missing items and submit. Only profiles with a valid English Wikipedia page are eligible.

3) Global Map: Hashtag + Location + Figure

Our interactive global map visualizes real issues by combining three elements: Hashtag (what), Location (where), and Public Figure (who). Users can browse, zoom by country/city, and see what matters most in each area.

Create a mapped hashtag

  1. Choose or type a #hashtag describing the issue.
  2. Select a precise Location (country/city or map pin).
  3. Pick a related Public Figure from Rinbang profiles.
  4. Submit — the combination appears on the global map and the chosen figure’s profile.

A hashtag becomes trending when it’s used by 20+ other users for the same (hashtag + location + figure) combo. Trending items are highlighted on the map.

4) Comments & Engagement

Comment under posts and figure profiles to share constructive opinions. A comment is considered trending after receiving 30+ likes from other users. Constructive contributions improve your reputation and affect your medal progression (see below).

5) Ranking / Top Ten

The Ranking page (aka Top Ten) lists public figures by popularity and unpopularity, with filters for last 24h, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. You can also browse by categories (e.g., Top Politicians) to see who leads each field.

  • Hot: most interactions in the last 24h (hashtags, views, comments).
  • New: newly registered public figures.
  • Top: best/worst average ratings for the selected time range.

6) Medal System 🏆

Rinbang rewards trustworthy, active users with medals that increase vote weight and unlock perks:

  • 🥉 Bronze — vote weight 0.1
  • 🥈 Silver — vote weight 0.5
  • 🥇 Gold — vote weight 1.0
  • 🏆 Golden Cup — vote weight 5.0 + VIP club access
  • 💎 Diamond — top level; can create content for official pages

Progress by being active (required days), adding verified figures, creating trending hashtags, writing trending comments, and submitting approved reports. 3 major mistakes reset you to the previous medal.

7) Key Concepts

  • Ratings: score figures from -10 to +10 based on impact/performance.
  • Hashtags: prefix with #; pair with Location and Figure to appear on the global map.
  • Rinbang ID: unique identifier for every registered figure.
  • Profile: shows registration date, active days, reports, follows, registered profiles, confirmed contributions, impact score, medal level.

8) Account Deactivation

To prevent fake accounts and score manipulation, any account inactive for 91+ days is automatically deleted. All scores, votes, and actions from that account are removed.
